GENERAL PROVISIONS

In order to maintain the right to privacy of website users www.avante.pl (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”) and to fulfill the requirements arising from legal provisions, AVANTE S.A. based in Elbląg publishes a document in which it explains and informs about the way in which data provided by users of the Website (hereinafter referred to as “Users”) is collected, processed and secured. Before using the website, the User should read this Privacy Policy.

COLLECTION AND PROCESSING OF DATA BY AVANTE S.A.

Angielski The administrator of personal data (“administrator”) provided by the User when using the website www.avante.pl is AVANTE S.A., which processes personal data in accordance with applicable law, including Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council as on April 27, 2016 (“GDPR”) and the Act of July 18, 2002 on the provision of electronic services.

AVANTE S.A. provides its Users with the opportunity to use its website anonymously, however, in order to gain full access to the content and services offered through websites such as newsletters or partner zones, it is advisable to register by completing the registration form.

Providing data by the User is voluntary, but failure to provide some data may prevent registration and use of some services.

During registration, AVANTE S.A. will inform the User which of the data listed in the registration form is necessary to provide content or provide services and will indicate which data are additional data that do not result in suspending the registration process.

PURPOSES AND LEGAL BASIS OF DATA PROCESSING

AVANTE S.A. does not disclose Users’ personal data to third parties or entities, except when it has a legal basis for doing so, or at the request of authorized entities, or when it is necessary to provide services.

User data may be made available at the request of public authorities or other entities authorized to such access under the law, in particular when it is necessary to ensure the security of our system or the rights of other Users.

USER PERMISSIONS

The user has the following rights:

1. The user has the following rights: At the request of the User, AVANTE S.A. will confirm what personal data the User processes and provide him with a copy of this data.
2. The right to rectify personal data. If the User’s personal data is incorrect or incomplete, the User may request from AVANTE S.A. rectifying or supplementing them. At any time, a registered User has the opportunity to correct his or her personal data through the User’s account on the Websites.
3. The right to delete personal data. In certain situations, the User may demand from AVANTE S.A. deletion of personal data processed by AVANTE S.A. (e.g. when the data is no longer necessary for the provision of services by AVANTE S.A.).
4. The right to restrict the processing of personal data. The User may request from AVANTE S.A. temporarily suspending the processing of your data (e.g. not sending marketing information to the provided e-mail address) in certain situations. For example, you may request the restriction of the processing of your personal data when you object to the processing or when you question the accuracy of the data. Despite the limitation of processing, AVANTE S.A. will still be entitled to store personal data.
5. The right to request the transfer of personal data. In certain situations (e.g. in relation to data processed on the basis of consent), the User also has the right to receive personal data processed by AVANTE S.A. in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format in order to transmit this data to another controller.
6. The right to object to the processing of personal data: The User may request the cessation of processing by AVANTE S.A. his personal data when:

• AVANTE S.A. processes the User’s personal data on the basis of its own or a third party’s legitimate interest, except for situations where these interests override the interests, rights and freedoms of the User, the User’s data are processed for direct marketing purposes,
• Processing includes automated decision-making for the User, including profiling.

DATA STORAGE PERIOD

AVANTE S.A. stores Users’ personal data only for the time necessary to achieve the purposes for which the data was collected. Personal data may be stored longer if such an obligation results from legal provisions or it is necessary for the defense or investigation by AVANTE S.A. claims against Users.

POLICY OF “COOKIES” AND OTHER MECHANISMS FOR AUTOMATIC STORAGE OF DATA ON THE USER’S END DEVICES OR AUTOMATICALLY TRANSFERRED BY THE USER

The website uses automatic data storage mechanisms. They are used to better adapt to the needs of Users.

For the purposes of this policy, automatic data storage mechanisms will be referred to as “cookies”. “Cookies” are files saved on the User’s end device, used to identify the User’s browser when using the Websites. They use them to provide the administrator with statistical information about User traffic, User activity and how the website is used. The information provided by our Users is processed and stored using appropriate security measures in accordance with the requirements of Polish law. AVANTE S.A. protects Users’ data against unauthorized access, use or disclosure. Data is processed in a controlled environment while maintaining high standards of protection.
